The prototype of a short game about homelessness in Toronto.

Linear/Suggested Playthrough:
Visit the encampment in the top left area of the park and hear the stories of houseless people living there. You must complete all quests to progress through the short story.

Movement - WASD Only
Interact/Talk to NPC/Pickup Item - F
Dialogue Controls:
Mouse Move + Click (Recommended)
Arrow Keys to Change Response Selection
Space/Enter to Select/Advance Dialogue

Install instructions
To install, download and unzip the executable and pack file (Windows and Linux). MacOS requires installation from source or playing the web version.
Alternatively, running the game from source is highly recommended:
- Download the Godot Engine - Free and open source 2D and 3D game engine
- Clone the Project Repo: dkantereivin/HomeIsWhereTheHeartIs (github.com)
- Run in Godot!
